Tea of Teas

In 1861, the renowned cartographer Kim Jeongho created a detailed map of Korea known as the "Map of the Great Eastern State." On it, he designated the hills in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula as Mount Mongjung. On this mountain lies the Mongjung Mountain Tea Plantation, where sea breezes from the crystal-clear waters of the south rise up the coastal hills of Boseong County, shrouding the fields in a fine mist. These coastal hills are characterized by four distinct seasons, essential to the exceptional quality of Tea of Tea's green tea. The cold winter climate causes the sap to condense in the trees, and the first leaves of spring sprout, nourished by this rich liquid. This unique process is what gives Tea of Tea its unparalleled flavor.

International recognition

In 2002, the green tea from Mongjung Mountain Tea Plantation was awarded the Gold Standard at the Great Taste Awards in London, organized by the Guild of Fine Foods, thus confirming the tea's outstanding quality by international tea experts. The leaves of this award-winning green tea retain their superior quality even though they are from the seventh harvest.

Commitment to excellence

Cultivation at the Mongjung Mountain Tea Plantation is carried out with the utmost care and a sincere commitment to preserving and sharing the pure excellence of nature. Since 1994, the soil has been fertilized exclusively with organic compost. In 2002, the plantation received organic certification in Korea, and in 2007, it achieved 100% USDA organic certification. Inspectors from GOCA, a US organic certification body, concluded after examining the water flow, wind, and soil of the Mongjung Mountain Tea Plantation that no traces of agrochemicals were found. In 2011, the Tea of Teas brand was established to market our Mongjung Mountain green teas worldwide.
