While our green tea trees grow wild among weeds, insects, and various abundant wildlife, making them stronger and more robust, how did we manage to naturally secure their growth in the early years when they were still delicate and at risk of being overgrown by weeds? That's right: geese!

The farm's organically raised geese had always enjoyed grazing on the various weeds sprouting around the grounds. One day, when they happened to wander into the green tea field, the farmers noticed that while the geese continued to eat the weeds, they showed no interest in the young green tea plants. They realized this was the perfect solution for getting rid of the weeds in the most natural way, without human intervention and certainly without chemical herbicides.

In the early years, the geese on the farm helped to tend our green tea fields, even fertilizing the soil with their droppings as they performed their duties, until the trees were large and strong enough to thrive alongside their natural weedy neighbors.
